Pauline North

Pauline North grew up in the quiet countryside of West Sussex and received her education at Midhurst Grammar School and the Guildford School of Art.

After marrying her husband Brian, the couple lived briefly in Guildford before settling in their long-term home in Binscombe, where they still reside.

Pauline’s professional life has been varied. After working in a wide range of jobs, she answered an advertisement for “an artistic person” and became a display artist. For eighteen years, she formed half of a two-woman team responsible for designing and installing window displays across the south of England.

Years later, seeking a new direction, she opened a jewellery shop in Crown Court, Godalming. Having recently closed the shop, Pauline now devotes her time to her passion for writing and has self-published several books.

Alongside her writing, Pauline enjoys painting, drawing, dressmaking, and a variety of other creative crafts.
