Martyn MacDonald Adams
Martyn MacDonald Adams lives in Godalming. A lightly bearded, 1950s-vintage ex-software developer, he now channels his creativity into writing and music.
Alongside various short stories, Martyn is developing a series of steampunk novels centred on a complete non-hero and his unpredictable relationship with a pretty, young — but decidedly homicidal — girl.
His other major creative pursuit is songwriting as part of the local group Nightingale Road.
Martyn’s philosophical side often emerges in wry observations about the human condition. He reflects on the improbability of life on the thin crust of a molten planet hurtling around a nuclear fireball — and how remarkable it is that so few of us have fallen off. He sometimes gazes at the sky, hoping nothing out there is on a collision course with us.
Meanwhile, he watches humanity pollute its own home and quarrel endlessly for reasons he struggles to comprehend.
