Elif Tyson

Elif Tyson lived in the Godalming area for two short periods in 2005 and 2006. Third time lucky, she returned permanently in late 2010 and has been here ever since.

An economist by profession, Elif has a wide range of interests, including travelling and photography. She began writing in an effort to complete a project close to her heart — her late husband’s unfinished novel. After joining the GWG in 2015, the project remains incomplete, but Elif continues to try, experiment, and persevere against all the odds.

Alongside writing, Elif works full time, supports a charitable organisation, and enjoys peaceful riverside walks with her dog, Sandy.
